Board of Directors

KIHE is under the stewardship of a Board of Directors that includes two independent members alongside a representative of the Company’s shareholders. This structure ensures a clear distinction between the company’s ownership and governance and the management of the Institute. It also facilitates the provision of unbiased business, financial, and higher education insight and counsel at the pinnacle of decision-making.

An independent member serves as the chair of the Board of Directors, which is tasked with defining the Institute’s mission and strategic objectives, as well as appointing and supervising the Chief Executive Officer. Furthermore, the board is committed to ensuring that KIHE continually fulfils its legal, regulatory, financial, and societal duties and responsibilities.

Academic Board

To guarantee the provision of independent academic advice, the governance related to academic matters is delegated to the Academic Board by the Board of Directors. This body includes academic personnel from other higher education institutions, professionals from the IT industry, members of KIHE’s own academic staff, and a KIHE alumnus. It is Chaired by one of the independent directors.

The Academic Board functions autonomously from the Institute’s ownership and management, safeguarding the integrity of academic programs. It holds the mandate for creating academic policies and managing their administration, alongside supervising the educational process to ensure the curriculum is administered in a way that supports the achievement of educational goals.

Executive Management Committee

The CEO, tasked with the Institute’s effective and efficient operation, leads the Executive Management Committee. This committee plays a pivotal role in the daily management of the Institute, enhancing management coordination and striving towards the fulfilment of KIHE’s strategic and financial aspirations.
